Kingfisher was renumbered 585 in 1946, but this was soon changed to 24 and the locomotive passed into BR service as No. 60024.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\u003cp\u003ePainted purple with red and cream lining in June 1948, this changed to BR blue in 1950 and finally BR lined green in March 1952.
