This release features 100% new moulds, a super-detailed cockpit with 3D decals, photo-etched parts, a Super Decals Sheet for 8 versions and a colour painting and decals guide.
\r\r
Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; glue and paint are not included and are required to complete the model.
\r\r
The Macchi MC.202 Folgore represented a significant development for the fighter units of the Regia Aeronautica. Its aerodynamic design was combined with the powerful German DB 601 inline engine, produced under licence by the Italian aeronautical industry. The new powerplant and strong aircraft design gave the Regia Aeronautica a fighter capable of engaging Allied fighters on equal terms. Compared with the previous generation of radial-engined fighters such as the Fiat G-50 and Macchi MC.200, its flight performance was much improved. The aircraft was manoeuvrable and fast, reaching 600 km/h, while early versions carried two 12.7 mm Breda-SAFAT machine guns mounted in the nose. Later versions received additional machine guns in the wings.
\r\r
Special Features
\r
\r
100% new moulds
\r
Super-detailed cockpit with 3D decals
\r
Finely detailed engine and nose gun bay
\r
Detailed landing gear with optional wheel well covers
\r
Photo-etched parts for engine, flaps, cockpit and overall detailing
\r
Realistic panel lines and rivets
\r
Moveable wings and tail ailerons
\r
Open or closed flaps
\r
Two types of tail ailerons
\r
Super Decals Sheet for 8 versions
\r
Realistic smoke ring decals with application guide
\r
Colour painting and decals guide
\r
\r\r
What's in the Box
\r
\r
Plastic model kit
\r
Photo-etched parts
\r
Super Decals Sheet for 8 versions
\r
Cockpit 3D decals
\r
Smoke ring decals with application guide
\r
Colour painting and decals guide
\r
Figure not included; contains 1 model
\r

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0787/6637/4935/files/2524S_421e988c-1f3d-46d8-a770-284ffc7b954a.jpg?v=1793150130
