This 1/10 scale radio control kit recreates the Mini Cooper built by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) between 1959 and 2000. The original Mini was built for four decades without model changes, and its front-wheel-drive layout was rare at the time. Compact mechanics and maximum interior space, combined with a design built around the bare minimum, helped cement its iconic status. This R/C version is built on the MB-01 chassis in the short wheelbase, front motor / front-wheel-drive (FF) layout.
\r\r
Special Features
\r
\r
Lightweight polycarbonate Mini Cooper Racing body, pre-painted in Blue (PS-4) with a White (PS-1) roof and Smoke (PS-31) windows
\r
Pre-cut wheel arches and pre-made body mount holes
\r
Updated markings for the body
\r
8-spoke wheels paired with 60D radial tyres
\r
Compact 2WD MB-01 chassis with a choice of three wheelbases and front- or rear-wheel drive
\r
Switch between front- and rear-wheel drive without removing the battery pack, motor or R/C equipment from the centre frame, simply by changing the attachment direction of the final gears and steering linkage
\r
Low or high motor position can be chosen for rear-wheel-drive cars
\r
4-wheel double wishbone suspension with a symmetrical structure and friction dampers
\r
Unitised motor mount, final gears and suspension for easier assembly and maintenance
\r
Includes a 540 brushed motor and ESC (electronic speed control)
\r
\r\r
What's in the Box
\r
\r
Pre-painted polycarbonate Mini Cooper Racing body
\r
Body stickers
\r
MB-01 chassis components
\r
8-spoke wheels and 60D radial tyres
\r
540 brushed motor
\r
HobbyWing THW 1060 Brushed Motor ESC (2-3S)
\r
\r\r
What You'll Need
\r
\r
2-channel radio
\r
Steering servo
\r
7.2-7.4V battery
\r
Compatible battery charger
\r
\r\r
Why You'll Love It
\r
With the body already painted, you can go straight from building the chassis to hitting the track.
