Delivery Information

At Hobby Vault Co, we offer flexible and reliable delivery options to suit your needs.

Standard Delivery

We have partnered with reliable carriers - Australia Post and Team Global Express (TGE) - to ensure your order is delivered safely and efficiently. Standard delivery services generally operate Monday to Friday and may not be available on public holidays.

If you require delivery outside of these standard times, special arrangements may be possible with the relevant shipping partner. Please note that additional fees could apply.

Express Delivery

Hobby Vault Co can offer Express Delivery, but this will need to be quoted based on multiple factors such as Order size, delivery address, etc.

Please note that Express Delivery might not be available on items classified as Dangerous Goods as identified under Delivery Rates.

Click & Collect (South Australia only)

Hobby Vault Co is offering a FREE same day Click and Collect service from our warehouse in Adelaide, South Australia. This option will appear at checkout once your postcode is entered.

For same day Click and Collect, orders need to be placed Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and please allow up to 3 business hours for processing.

You will be notified via email once your order is ready for collection.

Collection hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm (Closed weekends and public holidays).

Orders must be collected within 14 days form when checkout is completed. Orders not collected after 14 days will be refunded in line with our Returns Policy.

Delivery Rates

Hobby Vault Co is offering FREE Standard Delivery on all orders across all Australian states, excluding certain remote areas, see Terms & Conditions below.

Terms & Conditions

Our Free Standard Delivery option applies to online orders only and may change without notice. Express Delivery is excluded from Free Standard Delivery and will need to be quoted. Please Contact Us so our customer service team may assist with a quote.

OVERSIZE ITEMS: Items larger than 1 metre in any dimension are considered an oversize item and are not accepted by Australia Post and as such, will only be delivered via a courier service. These items cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes.

DANGEROUS GOODS: Certain products, such as paints, finishing materials, adhesives and batteries fall under the "Dangerous Goods" category. These goods can only be delivered via road services and will be delivered via courier only. As a result, certain items may not be eligible for express delivery, and delivery options may vary depending on the destination address.

REMOTE AREA DELIVERIES: Our national courier networks cannot provide door-to-door services to some remote Australian areas. Including any area that may require light aircraft, barge or boat to access. In these cases, if delivery is possible, surcharges may apply to the standard rates. Alternatively, couriers may provide delivery to local depots or Australia Post offices for customer collection of goods.

AUTHORITY TO LEAVE PACKAGE WITHOUT SIGNATURE: For security, certain high-value items or orders may require a signature upon delivery. If no one is available to sign, we recommend providing a business address or an alternative address to avoid delays or re-delivery fees.

Generally a signature is required upon delivery, but should you allow the authority for any package to be delivered and left in a safe place or without a signature, this is an agreement made between the receiver (you) and the shipping service prior to the delivery of your parcel and Hobby Vault cannot be held liable for non-receipt, stolen or damaged goods (e.g. Authority to leave parcel unattended outside or at your front door).

Tracking Orders

After the checkout process is completed and your order has been dispatched, you will receive a notification via email or SMS from either Australia Post or Team Global Express (TGE) with a unique tracking number for your order. Depending on the delivery service, this could take up to 2-3 business days.

In rare circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to events like power failures and software malfunctions) dispatch of orders may be delayed.

Please keep in mind that, even though we dispatch promptly, delivery dates can be affected by circumstances beyond our control and may be updated by the delivery service provider after dispatch.

Orders can be tracked via either the Australia Post or Team Global Express (TGE) applications or websites, using the tracking number provided. See below links to website tracking service:

If you have the application installed for TGE or Australia Post, notifications should also be sent straight to your phone via the app. Ensure you have notifications turned on for these apps.

All delivery enquiries should be directed to the delivery services selected, including delivery progress and proof of delivery. For Click and Collect orders, please Contact Us directly, and our customer service team will assist.

Once a tracking number is provided for your order, we are unable to make changes to your order, delivery times or delivery address.

Please note: Delivery times can vary depending on the parcel size, the selected delivery service, your delivery location, and if your order contains dangerous goods or not.
