Holden FC – A Milestone in Aussie Motoring

Launched in 1958, the Holden FC was a major success, reaching over 50% market share and becoming the first Holden to surpass 100,000 units in a year. It marked a significant milestone when the 500,000th Holden — a Station Sedan — was produced and presented to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

An evolution of the FE, the FC featured bold chrome styling, updated trim and an improved interior design. After a strong production run of 191,724 vehicles, the FC cemented its place in Australian motoring history as an important chapter in Holden’s early success.

This highly detailed 1/18 scale diecast replica captures the distinctive character of the FC with an impressive range of authentic details. The chrome grille dominates the front end, with the radiator, horn and metal pressing visible behind it. The accurately replicated wheel rims feature chrome hub caps with embossed logos, complemented by soft rubber tyres.

Inside, the unique FC interior features its distinctive half-ring steering wheel, shrouded instrument cluster and vertical air vent. Detailed door trims incorporate chrome trim, handles and window winders, complemented by a striking two-tone accent.

Under the bonnet, the detailed engine and surrounding bay feature the original stickers and markings for an authentic appearance. The boot interior continues the attention to detail with an engraved floor mat, detailed spare tyre and fuel pipe extending from the rear fuel filler.

The front chassis features working suspension and steering, with the sump, gearbox and exhaust finely reproduced. Completing the model is an individually numbered etched metal plate mounted to the chassis, displaying the edition number of your model.
