Corgi James Bond 007 Aston Martin DBS – Casino Royale 20th Anniversary Diecast Model

The Corgi Aston Martin DBS recreates 007's company car from Casino Royale, released to mark the film's 20th anniversary.

Issued by MI6 to the newly installed James Bond as his company vehicle during a high-stakes poker tournament at the Casino Royale in Montenegro, the DBS was fitted with a secure glove compartment for firearms and medical equipment before being destroyed in spectacular fashion during Bond's pursuit to save Treasury Agent Vesper Lynd. The Aston Martin DBS vehicles used in filming were hand-built prototypes, as the model had yet to enter full production; two hero cars and three stunt cars were built, one of which was used for the film's signature stunt. Filmed on the Hill Route at Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire, the DBS's low centre of gravity made flipping it exceedingly difficult until a nitrogen-powered air cannon was fitted to the rear, producing a crash that rotated the car seven times in the air — a new Guinness World Record.
