The Corgi Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress recreates 'Sally B', the sole airworthy B-17G in European skies and a mainstay of the UK airshow circuit for over 50 years.

Sally B doesn't benefit from any government sponsorship, with its continued flying owed largely to the resolve and determination of the aircraft's dedicated owner and team. A mighty airborne tribute to the American airmen who flew from bases in Britain during the Second World War, the aircraft calls IWM Duxford home, sharing the site with the American Air Museum and marking the significant contribution of British-based US personnel during the war. Together they draw thousands of visitors to Cambridgeshire each year, many from America and many following in the footsteps of wartime relatives who served in Europe. The successful completion of Sally B's 50th display season was a proud achievement for the aircraft and the team who maintain her, who remain determined, despite plenty of setbacks over the years, to keep this magnificent aircraft flying for as many people as possible.
