The Italeri Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer is a 1/35 scale plastic assembly model kit of the German light tank destroyer.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; glue and paint are not included and are required to complete the model.

Born on the reliable and proven Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) light tank chassis, the Hetzer was developed in the second half of 1943 to equip the German Army with a light tank destroyer more cost-effective than the bigger and heavier Jagdpanther and Jagdtiger. The main features of the project were a low profile, good armour relative to its size, and strong firepower guaranteed by a 75mm anti-tank gun. Further development priorities included ease and low cost of production. The Hetzer entered service in the second half of 1944 and proved extremely effective and lethal, even against the most powerful Allied tanks.
