OXFORD 1/148 JAGUAR SS - SUEDE GREEN

As elegant as ever, the SS Jaguar 2.5 Litre Saloon returns in 1:148 scale, now in a rich Suede Green finish for its fifth appearance. A favourite among Jaguar collectors, this model has previously been released in 1:43 and 1:76 scales—and now it’s available for small-scale enthusiasts.
Originally unveiled in 1935 at London’s Mayfair Hotel by William Lyons, this was the first car to carry the Jaguar name. Priced at just £395 at the time, it was a stylish four-door saloon featuring a side-mounted spare wheel, sunroof, running boards, and distinctive ‘suicide’ doors.
This miniature captures the charm of the original with a deep green body, lighter green interior (including seats, floor, and door panels), and a black steering wheel. The black roof panel and chrome detailing on the bumpers, radiator grille, window frames, and large headlamps add to its vintage appeal. Registered GKJ 496, it also features dark green wheels with chrome centres and a silver side stripe beneath the windows.
A timeless classic, now in a space-saving scale.
