OXFORD 1/76 SHERMAN MKIII - 17TH/21ST LANCERS 6TH ARM. DIV. TUNISIA

A powerful piece of WWII history, this 1:76 scale Sherman III model replicates the M4/A2 Medium Tank supplied by the USA to Allied forces under the Lend-Lease program. Produced between 1942 and 1945, over 8,000 units were built, with many serving in the British Army during key campaigns.
This model represents a tank used by the 17th/21st Lancers, known as the “Death or Glory Boys”, during the North African campaign of 1942–43. Decorated in dark sand and green camouflage, it features black tracks and machine guns, a white underside to the gun barrel, and a rear turret box. The yellow triangle on the turret indicates radio-equipped AFV status, while the regimental gauntlet insignia adds authentic military detail.
Armed with a 75mm M3 L/40 gun and Browning machine guns, the Sherman III was powered by a twin 6-cylinder diesel engine, reaching speeds up to 48 km/h. A must-have for collectors of WWII military vehicles and British armoured history.
