History: 

The Gneisenau was one of the most famous German battleships of the Second World War. Together with her sister ship Scharnhorst she took part in numerous operations, including the famous Battle of Skagerrak. Named after the Prussian general August von Gneisenau, the ship stood for the power and technical sophistication of the German navy of that time. The 2024 re-edition of the model takes up the original design and has modernized numerous details to offer you a particularly realistic building experience.
