In June 2023, 25 NATO member countries came together in Europe to take part in the joint "Air Defender" exercise initiated by the German Bundeswehr. 10,000 soldiers with a total of approx. 250 aircraft participated in the "largest air force deployment exercise in NATO’s history". Particularly an A400M and a Tornado grabbed people’s attention with their colourful decoration, especially of their vertical stabilizers. Model kit of the A400M and the Tornado Authentic representation of the following versions: Airbus A400M, c/n, 54+21, Air Defender, June 2023, Wunstorf and Panavia Tornado IDS, c/n 427/GS126/4169, Air Defender, June 2023, Neuburg.
