REVELL 1/25 1968 CORVETTE L-88 ROADSTER

The 1968 Chevrolet Corvette L88 was a high-performance variant of the C3 Corvette, produced in limited numbers. It featured a 427 cu in (7.0 L) V8 engine with a 12.5:1 compression ratio, producing 430 hp at 4,600 rpm. The L88 engine was equipped with aluminum cylinder heads, a Holley 850 cfm carburetor, and a solid-lifter camshaft. To discourage street use, Chevrolet omitted features like the heater and radio, and required the installation of heavy-duty components such as the Muncie M22 "Rock Crusher" transmission and heavy-duty suspension. Only 80 L88 Corvettes were produced in 1968, making it one of the rarest and most sought-after models among collectors.
