The Tamiya 1/12 Ducati Desmosedici recreates Ducati's spectacular 2004 MotoGP machine, combining an innovative V4 engine, tubular steel truss frame and unmistakable Italian racing design in a highly detailed scale model.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; paints, cement and hobby tools are not included and are required to complete the model.

The Desmosedici name refers to Ducati's distinctive desmodromic valve system and its sixteen-valve configuration. Tamiya's model accurately reproduces the unusual engineering of the GP4, with the V4 engine forming a central structural element and the swing arm and rear shock pivots attached directly to the engine. Builders can choose between the machines of Loris Capirossi and Troy Bayliss.
