The Tamiya 1/12 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R recreates Kawasaki's high-performance flagship superbike, capturing its fighter-plane-inspired aerodynamics, aluminum monocoque frame and powerful 1,199cc four-cylinder engine in impressive scale detail.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; paints, cement and hobby tools are not included and are required to complete the model.

Unveiled at the 1999 Paris Motorcycle Show, the Ninja ZX-12R was developed as Kawasaki's answer to the growing demand for 300km/h-plus super sport motorcycles. Extensive wind-tunnel development helped shape its aerodynamic fairing, while its monocoque frame backbone also forms the airbox. The fuel-injected 1,199cc four-cylinder engine delivers an imposing 178 horsepower, making the ZX-12R a landmark in Kawasaki superbike development.
