About the Skyline 2000 Turbo GT-E S
Among the models in the sixth generation Nissan Skyline series which made its debut in August 1981, the 2000 Turbo GT-E・S was a highly sporty version. With its neat wedge-shaped body, this car employed a 2-liter inline-6 turbo engine capable of 145hp and four-wheel independent suspension whose stiffness could be adjusted from the driver’s position, the first time that such a system had ever been included in a mass production car. Disc brakes were installed on all four wheels. Its sophisticated styling and mechanism brought owners to the joy of driving this high-performance GT car.
