Tamiya's 1/24 Porsche 911 GT1 recreates Porsche's purpose-built endurance racing machine with its wide, low-slung body and aggressive aerodynamic design. From the roof-mounted air intake and bulging fenders to the mid-mounted twin-turbo flat-six and pushrod suspension, this kit captures the uncompromising character of a GT1 racing car.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; paints, cement and hobby tools are not included and are required to complete the model.

The Porsche 911 GT1 debuted in 1996 as a top-level endurance racing machine. Although it shared visual cues with the road-going 911, the race car was extensively redesigned, featuring a rear space-frame chassis section, a mid-mounted 3,166cc flat-six engine with twin turbochargers and sophisticated double-wishbone suspension with horizontal dampers and pushrods.
