The Tamiya 1/32 Mitsubishi A6M2b Zero Fighter Model 21 recreates the legendary Imperial Japanese Navy fighter in large, highly detailed 1/32 scale, capturing the aircraft's graceful lines and complex engine and cockpit detail in exacting form.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; paints, cement and hobby tools are not included and are required to complete the model.

From the early days of the Second Sino-Japanese War through to the end of hostilities in the Pacific, the Mitsubishi Zero served as the Imperial Japanese Navy's main frontline fighter. The first mass-produced version, the Model 21, was equipped with 50cm folding wingtips, a landing hook, and a radio direction finder for long-range carrier-based operations. Flown by expert pilots, the Model 21 took part in daring operations including the attack on Pearl Harbor and the invasion of the Philippines, and its 3,000km range, powerful 20mm cannon armament, and legendary manoeuvrability quickly earned the respect of Allied aircrews.
