The Tamiya 1/48 Douglas A-1H Skyraider recreates the most-produced variant of the U.S. Navy's piston-engined attack aircraft, with its robust form, detailed engine cowling, movable flight surfaces and a selection of ordnance for a fully armed display.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; cement, paint and finishing supplies are not included and are required to complete the model.

First introduced in 1946, the A-1 Skyraider's frontline career as the U.S. Navy's last piston-engined attack aircraft continued for thirty years. The aircraft provided close-air support and rescue helicopter escort during the Vietnam War. This kit depicts the A-1H, the most produced variant of the Skyraider.
