Tamiya 1/48 Grumman F-14D Tomcat Plastic Model Kit

Build the ultimate evolution of one of the world's most famous carrier-based fighters with the Tamiya 1/48 Grumman F-14D Tomcat. This highly detailed plastic model assembly kit captures the distinctive F-14D-specific features, from its General Electric F110 engines and upgraded avionics to its variable-sweep wings and extensive selection of air-to-air and air-to-ground weaponry.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; paints, cement and hobby tools are not included and are required to complete the model.

The F-14D represented the most advanced production version of the Tomcat. In addition to the more powerful F110-GE-400 engines, it received major upgrades to its radar, avionics and weapons systems, transforming the Tomcat from a dedicated fleet interceptor into a highly capable multi-role aircraft. The F-14D entered service in the 1990s and remained in U.S. Navy service until the Tomcat's retirement in 2006.
