The Tamiya 1/48 Messerschmitt Me262 A-1A recreates the Luftwaffe jet fighter in detailed 1/48 scale, with its distinctive underwing engine nacelles, detailed nose-mounted 30mm cannons and cockpit, plus options for displaying the canopy and gun bay open or closed.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; paints, cement and hobby tools are not included and are required to complete the model.

The Messerschmitt Me262 was the first jet-powered plane to see service. The A-1a fighter version entered production in November 1944 and was equipped with four 30mm cannons in the nose. Late-production aircraft could also carry rocket launchers under the nose and R4M air-to-air rockets under the wings.
