Tamiya 1/48 Mitsubishi A6M3/3A Zero Fighter (Zeke) Plastic Model Kit

Recreate one of the Imperial Japanese Navy's most important fighters of the Pacific War with the Tamiya 1/48 Mitsubishi A6M3/3A Zero Fighter (Zeke). This detailed 1/48 scale plastic model kit captures the refined form of the A6M3 Model 22 while also providing the parts required to build the long-barrelled-cannon A6M3a variant.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; paints, cement and hobby tools are not included and are required to complete the model.

The A6M3 Model 32 introduced a more powerful Sakae 21 engine and clipped wingtips, increasing speed but reducing range. The Model 22 addressed this limitation by restoring the Zero's 12-metre wingspan and adding additional fuel capacity, increasing range to 2,560km. The A6M3a Model 22 variant further introduced long-barrelled cannons and was deployed extensively in the Solomon Islands from early 1943.
