Tamiya 1/48 Mitsubishi Isshikirikko Type 11 Plastic Model Kit

Build the iconic Japanese long-range land-based attack bomber of the Pacific War with the Tamiya 1/48 Mitsubishi Isshikirikko Type 11. Also known as the G4M1 and famously given the Allied reporting name "Betty", this large 1/48 scale model captures the aircraft's distinctive cigar-shaped fuselage, broad wings and impressive long-range design.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; paints, cement and hobby tools are not included and are required to complete the model.

The Mitsubishi G4M was developed for the Imperial Japanese Navy as a long-range land-based attack aircraft. The Type 11, or G4M1, prioritised range and speed through a lightweight structure and large internal fuel capacity. Its distinctive rounded fuselage housed the bomb or torpedo load, while the aircraft's broad wings provided the lift and fuel capacity necessary for its long-range missions.
