Tamiya 1/48 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I WWII British Fighter Aircraft Plastic Model Kit
The Tamiya 1/48 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I recreates the famous Royal Air Force fighter in detailed 1/48 scale, featuring the streamlined form and elliptical wings of the Mk.I along with newly tooled details for an updated and accurate appearance.
Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; cement, paint and finishing supplies are not included and are required to complete the model.
The Supermarine Spitfire is one of the best-known aircraft deployed by the Royal Air Force during the Battle of Britain, as British and German forces struggled for control of the skies over the English Channel. The Mk.I featured a streamlined form with elliptical wings designed for speed and was powered by a Merlin engine.
