Introduced in 1979, the Honda CB750F quickly became a leading motorcycle in the 750cc class. Its 748cc air-cooled inline-four engine drew heavily on Honda's experience developing the RCB endurance racer, with DOHC four-valve-per-cylinder technology and an output of 68 horsepower. Its distinctive cooling fins, dual front discs and flowing fuel-tank-to-tail styling helped establish the CB750F as a landmark Japanese sport motorcycle.
