TAMIYA 1/700 BRITISH DESTROYER O CLASS

Tamiya 1/700 British Destroyer O Class Plastic Model Kit

The Tamiya British Destroyer O Class is a 1/700 scale plastic assembly model kit of the Royal Navy's War Emergency Program destroyers.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; paints, cement and hobby tools are not included and are required to complete the model.

After the start of WWII, the Royal Navy built eight O Class destroyers as part of the War Emergency Program. These ships served in the North Sea and were active as convoy escorts. The kit enables modellers to depict the ship armed with either 12cm guns or 10.2cm dual-purpose guns, and would make for an interesting display next to the German Z Class destroyers.

Special Features

• Choice of building the ship with 12cm guns or 10.2cm dual-purpose guns
• Depth charge launchers and anchors sharply rendered
• Decals included for all eight ships of the class, plus UK flags

What's in the Box

• Plastic model kit components for the O Class waterline hull
• Decal sheet covering all eight ships and UK flags
• Instruction manual

What You'll Need

• Plastic cement
• Paints
• Finishing supplies

Why You'll Love It

With decals for all eight ships of the class included, this kit gives Royal Navy collectors real flexibility, and pairs naturally with Tamiya's German Z Class destroyer for a head-to-head WWII display.
