TAMIYA 1/700 JAPANESE AIRCRAFT CARRIER ZUIKAKU PEARL HARBOR

Tamiya 1/700 Japanese Aircraft Carrier Zuikaku (Pearl Harbor Attack) Plastic Model Kit

The Tamiya Japanese Aircraft Carrier Zuikaku (Pearl Harbor Attack) is a 1/700 scale plastic assembly model kit depicting the carrier as she appeared during the December 1941 Pearl Harbor attack.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; paints, cement and hobby tools are not included and are required to complete the model.

Commissioned in September 1941, Zuikaku was one of the best-balanced aircraft carriers of the Pacific War. Together with her sister ship Shokaku, she formed Carrier Division 5 and took part in the Pearl Harbor attack. The kit recreates the ship with the lighter anti-aircraft weaponry appropriate to this earlier configuration.
