TAMIYA 1/700 SHIRATSUYU DESTROYER

Tamiya 1/700 Shiratsuyu Destroyer Plastic Model Kit

The Tamiya Shiratsuyu Destroyer is a 1/700 scale plastic assembly model kit depicting the lead ship of the Shiratsuyu-class destroyers.

Shiratsuyu was completed in 1936 as the lead ship of her class, which followed the heavily armed Hatsuharu-class. The design incorporated modifications intended to address stability problems experienced by earlier destroyers. The Shiratsuyu-class consisted of 10 ships, all of which fought in the Pacific and none of which survived the war.
