The Scorcher, a popular and speedy 4WD racing buggy from the late-1980s Tamiya line-up, is back with a new name and updated body! The Tamiya RC 1/10 Neo Scorcher is made from durable polycarbonate and features a stylish large rear wing, with the body design drawing heavily upon the original Scorcher for inspiration. It can be decorated with the minimum of fuss thanks to the large stickers included.

Please note this is an unassembled kit requiring assembly; it ships as a build-it-yourself kit and does not arrive pre-built or ready to run.

It runs on the easy-assembly shaft-driven 4WD TT-02B, marrying the chassis' controllability with square spike tyres for superior grip on rough surfaces. The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02B buggy chassis uses a skid-shaped frame, with a suspension setup employing 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with long arms plus CVA shock units for assured handling. Left and right suspension arms and uprights are identical to facilitate hassle-free assembly, while front and rear gearboxes include 4-bevel differentials for smooth operation and are sealed to keep dust out. The top can be removed simply by loosening four screws, making maintenance a breeze, and four different gear ratios can be applied using three separately-sold pinion gear types, letting you match your car's setup to the conditions at hand. This off-road chassis also includes a receiver case and motor cover to protect vital electronics from dirt and debris thrown up off the track.
