Tamiya 1/10 RC Porsche 934 (1976) 50th Anniversary

To celebrate 50 years since Tamiya's first R/C Porsche 934, this limited-edition Tamiya Porsche 934 (1976) 50th Anniversary kit recreates the Kremer Racing icon on a bespoke chassis, with the motor mounted lengthwise at rear-centre and driving the rear wheels, just like the real car.

Please note this is an unassembled kit requiring assembly; it ships as a build-it-yourself kit and does not arrive pre-built or ready to run.

This kit recreates the Porsche 934 run by Kremer Racing, which flourished in the 1976 DRM (German Racing Championship) season. Inspired by the first Porsche 934 model, it arrives in white packaging. For collectors, magnetised body mounts that need no body holes are included for anyone who wants to display the car as a model, and a unique numbered plate makes each kit individually special.

Special Features

• Bespoke chassis with the motor positioned centrally and lengthwise, laid out like the real car, with power sent through a propeller shaft to the gear differential from the TB-05 chassis
• Pinion gears A and B can be swapped to adjust the gear ratio, and the gearbox surrounds are aluminium
• Rear trailing arm suspension moulded in carbon fibre reinforced plastic for superior rigidity
• Lower deck with integrated main and rear frames moulded in glass fibre reinforced plastic
• Standard wheelbase of 230mm with trailing arm rear suspension. The rear layout of the lower deck can be altered for a 251mm wheelbase with double wishbone rear suspension (separately sold body required)
• 4-wheel independent suspension with front double wishbone and rear trailing arm setups, plus high-spec TRF (Tamiya Racing Factory) dampers and stabilisers
• Design details inspired by the real car, including a muffler-shaped motor guard, chassis underside patterns and an intercooler-style stay mount. Separately sold cooling fans sit above the motor like the real car's cooling duct
• Choose between conventional body holes for a driving model or magnets and metal parts for a display model
• Polycarbonate body from the Porsche 934 30th anniversary model
• Separate plastic parts for the rear wing, side mirrors and light cases, with separately sold LEDs attachable
• Gearbox parts and aluminium turnbuckles with a dark titanium anodised finish
• 2-piece mesh wheels with metal-plated rims, paired with medium-narrow racing radial tyres for superior performance
• Universal drive shafts for efficient drive and full ball bearings
• Updated stickers for this edition, a unique numbered plate, and the 1/10 Scale Touring Car Cockpit Set (Left-Hand Drive) with updated stickers

Tamiya recommends painting the body with PS-54 Cobalt Green and the rear wing and side mirrors with TS-102 Cobalt Green. Wheel spacers are recommended when changing to a narrow front and wide rear.
