Tamiya RC 1/10 Volkswagen Type 2 T1 (M-06 Chassis) – Unassembled Kit

Cruise back to the classic era with the Tamiya Volkswagen Type 2 T1, recreating the beloved "23-window" first-generation VW Bus. Please note this is an unassembled kit requiring construction, so builders should expect to assemble the chassis, suspension, and polycarbonate body before driving. The kit reproduces the Type 2's rounded, friendly shape in accurate 1/10 scale polycarbonate, paired with classic-style wheels and tread-patterned tyres, all mounted on the rear-wheel-drive M-06 chassis. Volkswagen trademarks are used under license from Volkswagen AG.

The M-06 chassis places the motor at the rear for genuine rear-wheel-drive performance, with a longitudinally mounted battery pack and R/C equipment balanced on either side for a low center of gravity. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension uses metal-plated wheels fitted with 60D radial tyres up front and 60D super grip tyres at the rear, while a 3-piece steering linkage keeps handling responsive. A large scale-accurate bumper rounds out the classic look.
