Build one of Volkswagen's most celebrated hot hatches with the Tamiya RC 1/10 Volkswagen Golf II GTI 16V. The second-generation Golf GTI 16V combined compact dimensions with a high-revving 1,781cc 16-valve engine, and Tamiya recreates its unmistakable blocky silhouette in polycarbonate on the highly versatile MB-01 chassis.

Please note this is an unassembled kit requiring assembly; it ships as a build-it-yourself kit and does not arrive pre-built or ready to run.

This version of the MB-01 is assembled in the long 239mm wheelbase, front-motor and front-wheel-drive configuration. Separate plastic bumpers and side mirrors, transparent headlight and taillight parts, dish wheels and 60D radial tyres bring the classic Golf details to life, while the MB-01's symmetrical double wishbone suspension and unitised drivetrain sections make assembly and maintenance straightforward.
