One of Tamiya's most iconic RC models gets a fresh evolution with the Tamiya RC 1/12 Lunch Box EVO. The classic Lunch Box has been loved by RC kit builders for a long time, with fans enjoying the kit in creative ways, including making their own unique customisations to the chassis. This kit takes that spirit of customisation and channels it into the Lunch Box EVO edition, featuring updated suspension and a longer tread and wheelbase.

Please note this is an unassembled kit requiring assembly; it ships as a build-it-yourself kit and does not arrive pre-built or ready to run.

The ABS plastic body is identical to the original, but the CW-01E chassis brings meaningful upgrades underneath. Tread and wheelbase are 10mm longer compared to the iconic Lunch Box to improve traction and controllability, while updated suspension features front double wishbone and a rear 3-link setup with rigid axles for stable performance. A new equal-length steering arm has been added to the front, along with a rear stabiliser, and a strut bar at the front enhances chassis rigidity. A 7mm lower body mount provides a lower centre of gravity to help with stable control, and the body is securely mounted by eight screws for extra durability.
