Take command of a true Scandinavian heavyweight with the Tamiya Scania 770 S 8x4/4. Please note this is an unassembled kit requiring construction, so builders should expect to assemble the ladder frame chassis and full driveline before driving. This kit recreates the 770 S 8x4/4, a double front-axle steering, double rear-axle drive eight-wheel heavy trailer head equipped with a 16.4-liter V8 turbo engine capable of 770hp, added in 2020 to Scania's top-grade S Series. Scania trademarks are used under license from Scania CV AB.

The model features a highly realistic body with interior details and a driver figure, plus a tower rack behind the cab depicting a fuel tank, air tanks, and stowage cases. The ladder frame chassis uses aluminum side channels, with power delivered to the two rear axles via a 3-speed transmission and each axle fitted with its own differential gear. The two front axles are steered together by a single servo, accurately reproducing the slight difference in angle between them, while the second axle is a lift axle that can be manually raised and lowered, just like on the full-size truck.
