Take command of an award-winning European hauler with the Tamiya Scania R470 Highline. Please note this is an unassembled kit requiring construction, so builders should expect to assemble the ladder frame chassis and driveline before driving. This kit recreates one of the trucks belonging to Scania's International Truck of the Year 2005 award-winning R Series, with replica-quality body realism and a chassis featuring numerous metal parts for the frame and suspension that add a genuine sense of volume. Scania trademarks are used under license from Scania CV AB.

The beautifully reproduced cabin tilts forward separately from the fenders, just like the actual truck, and both the interior and exterior of the fenders have been accurately modeled for a realistic look. Assembly of the 3-speed transmission is straightforward, and when paired with a 4-channel transmitter, gives fans full control of realistic gear shift operations. The kit-included coupler enables linkage with any of Tamiya's currently available 1/14 scale trailers, and the R470 is compatible with a wide range of Tractor Truck Option Parts.
