Please note this is an unassembled kit requiring construction — while the cab and body arrive pre-painted, the chassis, driveline, and working towing mechanism still need to be assembled before use, and requires a 4-channel radio system rather than the standard 2-channel setup. Volvo's FH Series underwent a full model change in 2012, and this kit recreates the 750hp FH16 Globetrotter 750 8x4 tow truck from that range, with a realistic cab and body pre-painted in silver and finished with a glossy urethane topcoat. Volvo trademarks are used under license from Volvo Trademark Holding AB.

A photo-etched stainless steel front grille and detailed interior add further realism, and the body doors open for access to optional electronics. The fascinating towing mechanism uses plenty of metal parts, with a manually adjustable winch boom, underlift, and outriggers that bring genuine functional detail to the model. The front-mounted TR Mighty-Tuned motor (35T) provides power to the two rear axles via a 3-speed transmission, with gear changes also possible via transmitter, and the model is capable of towing subjects such as other 1/14 scale R/C tractor trucks.

• Electronic speed control (ESC) or Multi-Function Control (MFC) unit

Optional: separately sold Electric Actuator Set (Item 56553) enables R/C-controlled raising of the winch boom and underlift, and separately sold Multi-Function Control Unit MFC-03 (Item 56523) adds realistic lights, sound, and vibration. LEDs (Items 56549, 56550, and 56551) are needed to illuminate taillights when using an MFC unit.
